I basically started VirtualDub in college to do some quick capture-and-encoding that I wanted done; from there it's basically grown into a more general utility that can trim and clean up video before exporting to tape or processing with another program. I released it on the web and others found it useful, so I've been tinkering around with its code ever since. If you have the time, please download and enjoy.

I have this problem every single time I have to activate quickbooks. Usually triggered when I have to re-install QB or if QB is broken again and the intuit repair tool fails...again. There are literally 1000's of companies which use some form of online activation with their software, QB is the only one I know of that fails all the time...

I'm having the exact same problem! I bought a copy through TechSoup for a non-profit I'm on the board and it times out during the activation process no matter how fast I fill out the information fields. When I try and activate through the website it can't even find the product but I have an email from QuickBooks with the license code and product ID sent to the same email I used to log into the website with. Of course you can get an activation code from customer support but ONLY during the high demand hours when you can't get through anyway. So right now I'm SOL! I wish I had know about Xero before I stepped in this mess!!!

Debut Video Capture SoftwareNot all people are big fans of fancy filters and effects, and sometimes we just want a no-frills free webcam software. For such scenarios, Debut Video Capture is one of the best webcam apps whose clutter-free UI is its biggest USP. All that you get in the name of video editing tools are basic variables like contrast, saturation which can be adjusted by using a slider, and three video filters viz. B&W, Sepia, and Negative. And yes, you get a watermark tool for that tiny bit of personalization you want to add to your videos. When it comes to technical aspects, Debut Video Capture provides a considerable amount of control to users. One can capture screenshots on PC in two file types viz. JPG and PNG, while videos can be recorded in a wide array of formats such as AVI, MKV, FLV, and WMV to name just a few. Users have the flexibility to record screen activity in three aspect ratios (11: 9, 16:3, 4:3 ) in resolutions ranging from as low as 144p to HD, however, frame rate appears to be fixed at 30FPS at all resolutions.ProsConsSupports a wide range of formatsVideo editing tools are lackingMultiple resolutions are supportedSupported Platforms: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, and macOS 10.5 or above, including macOS 12 Monterey.

The option Show Clip Studio Paint logo will be added to the File menu > Timelapse > Export timelapse dialog. The Clip Studio Paint logo can be added to your timelapse videos. You can set the logo to be hidden by default.

These will allow you to record the creation process of your work on a canvas and export it as a timelapse video. You can export in formats compatible for posting on different social media platforms, allowing you to easily share videos of how your work is created.

In version 5.0, Google introduced Historical Imagery, allowing users to view earlier imagery. Clicking the clock icon in the toolbar opens a time slider, which marks the time of available imagery from the past. This feature allows for observation of an area's changes over time.[22] Utilizing the timelapse feature allows for the ability to view a zoomable video as far back as 32 years.[23]

Tap that option, and that's it: Your current location will be burned into Maps' memory. If you want to add extra info to help your own mushy mammal brain later, swipe up on the bar that says "Parking location" at the bottom of the screen. You can then enter notes about your saved location (what level you parked on, how many oatmeal-serving establishments were in the vicinity, and so on), attach photos (you making silly faces in front of various passersby, etc), and create an alert to remind you about the location after a certain amount of time has elapsed.

Reoccurring dreams that occur during the recovery process from substance use disorder that concern depictions of substance use, often vivid in nature, and frequently involving a relapse scenario. These dreams decrease in frequency with time in recovery from substance use disorder.

Upon attempting to recover my password this time around, it gave me the new option of sending a text with a 4-digit verification code to the number registered on my locked account (my iPhone), followed by a prompt to input my old password. And so, with a modicum of disbelief, I was given the ability to create a new password, which simultaneously granted me access to the account that I had been locked out of for almost two years -- a feat accomplished using the same method that Apple's two-step verification ORIGINALLY PROMISED. The first thing I did was promptly reset my recovery key, which I then proceeded to inscribe on the inside of my eyelids, with a copy stabled to the underside of my desk for good measure ?. I then cried with tears of joy as I began rapidly recovering all the music, movies, apps, and other files that I had been blocked from accessing, though my demeanor inverted when I saw that I had over 15,000 emails to weed through. That was a fun evening.

Mining operations generate large amounts of wastes which are usually stored into large-scale storage facilities which pose major environmental concerns and must be properly monitored to manage the risk of catastrophic failures and also to control the generation of contaminated mine drainage. In this context, non-invasive monitoring techniques such as time-lapse electrical resistivity tomography (TL-ERT) are promising since they provide large-scale subsurface information that complements surface observations (walkover, aerial photogrammetry or remote sensing) and traditional monitoring tools, which often sample a tiny proportion of the mining waste storage facilities. The purposes of this review are as follows: (i) to understand the current state of research on TL-ERT for various applications; (ii) to create a reference library for future research on TL-ERT and geoelectrical monitoring mining waste; and (iii) to identify promising areas of development and future research needs on this issue according to our experience. This review describes the theoretical basis of geoelectrical monitoring and provides an overview of TL-ERT applications and developments over the last 30 years from a database of over 650 case studies, not limited to mining operations (e.g., landslide, permafrost). In particular, the review focuses on the applications of ERT for mining waste characterization and monitoring and a database of 150 case studies is used to identify promising applications for long-term autonomous geoelectrical monitoring of the geotechnical and geochemical stability of mining wastes. Potential challenges that could emerge from a broader adoption of TL-ERT monitoring for mining wastes are discussed. The review also considers recent advances in instrumentation, data acquisition, processing and interpretation for long-term monitoring and draws future research perspectives and promising avenues which could help improve the design and accuracy of future geoelectric monitoring programs in mining wastes.

The recent reviews from Loke et al. (2013), Binley et al. (2015) and Slater and Binley (2021) have highlighted the emergence of time-lapse electrical resistivity tomography (TL-ERT) as a promising technique for monitoring of various subsurface processes across multiple scales. This non-destructive imaging approach has been combined with surface observations and point sensors measurements for long-term monitoring of landslides (Whiteley et al. 2019), permafrost (Mollaret et al. 2019), infrastructure (Chambers et al. 2014) and many other fields (Falzone et al. 2019). Although several other geophysical methods such as self-potential (Jougnot et al. 2015; Soupios and Kokinou 2016), induced polarization (Abdulsamad et al. 2019; Saneiyan et al. 2019), active and passive seismic (Grandjean et al. 2009; Olivier et al. 2017) or ground-penetrating radar (Giertzuch et al. 2021; Steelman et al. 2017) have been applied in similar contexts, the focus of this review is on TL-ERT since this technique is cost-efficient, robust and readily deployable for large-scale monitoring. Furthermore, TL-ERT is one of the most well understood near surface geophysical techniques, and is particularly sensitive to moisture driven processes, which play a key role in mining waste stability.
